# Pedestal Studio Acceptable Use Policy
Effective Date: 3/23/2026
This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) governs access to and use of the Pedestal Studio platform, website, applications, services, tools, payment features, creator pages, messaging systems, digital content features, subscriptions, commission tools, and marketplace features (collectively, the “Platform”).
Pedestal Studio is a creator monetization marketplace and social commerce platform. Use of the Platform is conditioned on strict compliance with this AUP, our Terms of Service, our Privacy Policy, and all applicable laws, regulations, card-network rules, payment processor requirements, and platform compliance standards.
By accessing or using the Platform, you agree not to use Pedestal Studio for any prohibited, unlawful, fraudulent, harmful, abusive, or restricted activity.
## 1. Zero-Tolerance Categories
You may not use the Platform to post, upload, display, sell, offer, purchase, request, commission, advertise, transmit, distribute, promote, link to, monetize, or otherwise facilitate any of the following:
### A. Adult Content and Sexual Services
- Pornography.
- Nudity or explicit sexual content intended for sexual gratification.
- Sexual services, escort services, prostitution, or compensated sexual acts.
- Fetish content intended for sexual gratification.
- Adult live chat, adult livestreaming, sexual performance services, or similar services.
- Subscriber-only adult content, explicit paywalled content, or sexual-content memberships.
- Sexual exploitation content of any kind.
- Any content involving minors in a sexualized context, whether real, fictionalized, implied, illustrated, edited, or AI-generated.
### B. Child Safety Violations
- Any content, communication, solicitation, roleplay, grooming behavior, or transaction involving the sexual exploitation, abuse, endangerment, or sexualization of minors.
- Any attempt to evade age restrictions or safety controls.
- Any content that depicts, promotes, glorifies, or facilitates child abuse.
### C. Hate, Violence, Terrorism, and Extremism
- Hate speech.
- Content that promotes, glorifies, encourages, threatens, or celebrates unlawful violence.
- Violent extremism, terrorist propaganda, or extremist fundraising.
- Content targeting protected groups with threats, incitement, or dehumanizing abuse.
- Graphic violence posted for shock value, glorification, or monetization.
### D. Illegal Goods, Illegal Services, and Unlawful Activity
- Any illegal goods or services.
- Stolen goods, contraband, counterfeit goods, forged documents, or fraudulent records.
- Drug sales, controlled substances, paraphernalia intended for illegal drug use, or unlawful pharmaceutical sales.
- Human trafficking, illegal gambling, money laundering, bribery, or sanctions evasion.
- Instructions, tools, or services designed to facilitate crimes, fraud, hacking, credential theft, malware, or unlawful surveillance.
- Any activity that violates applicable local, state, federal, or international law.
### E. Intellectual Property and Rights Violations
- Copyright infringement.
- Trademark infringement.
- Unauthorized use of another person’s name, image, likeness, voice, or identity.
- Unauthorized resale or distribution of pirated, leaked, or unlicensed content.
- Circumvention of licenses, digital rights management, or access controls.
- Sale or distribution of content you do not own or do not have the legal right to commercialize.
### F. Fraud, Deception, and Financial Misconduct
- Scams, deceptive listings, impersonation, phishing, or false claims.
- Misrepresentation of products, services, creators, or fulfillment status.
- Charge abuse, refund abuse, synthetic transactions, self-dealing, or transaction laundering.
- Using the Platform to process payments unrelated to a legitimate transaction on Pedestal Studio.
- Creating multiple accounts to evade enforcement, payment holds, review, or restrictions.
### G. Harassment, Abuse, and Unsafe Conduct
- Threats, stalking, targeted harassment, blackmail, extortion, or doxxing.
- Non-consensual intimate imagery.
- Invasion of privacy or disclosure of confidential personal information.
- Coercion, intimidation, or abusive conduct toward users, creators, staff, or third parties.
### H. Restricted or High-Risk Uses
The following may be prohibited entirely, restricted, or subject to enhanced review, onboarding approval, additional verification, listing controls, payment holds, or removal at Pedestal Studio’s sole discretion:
- Certain regulated goods or services.
- High-risk financial activity.
- Health, wellness, or claims-based services.
- Age-sensitive products.
- Fundraising for third parties.
- Any category that may create elevated legal, reputational, card-network, or payment-processor risk.
Pedestal Studio may prohibit any category of goods, services, or content that in our judgment creates unacceptable risk, even if not expressly listed in this AUP.
## 2. Platform Integrity Rules
You may not:
- Use bots, scripts, automation, scraping tools, or unauthorized software to access or misuse the Platform.
- Attempt to bypass moderation, detection systems, account limitations, identity checks, payout holds, or feature restrictions.
- Upload malware, viruses, harmful code, or malicious files.
- Interfere with Platform performance, security, availability, or integrity.
- Use misleading metadata, hidden text, deceptive tags, or evasive wording to conceal prohibited content.
- Re-route users off-platform to complete prohibited or unreviewed transactions arising from Platform activity.
- Use Pedestal Studio in a way that violates payment processor requirements, including Stripe requirements.
## 3. Creator Responsibility
Creators are solely responsible for:
- Ensuring all content, listings, services, commissions, subscription offerings, and communications comply with this AUP and all laws.
- Owning or having sufficient rights to all content and products they upload, sell, or distribute.
- Accurately describing their offerings.
- Fulfilling lawful orders as described.
- Maintaining any legally required licenses, registrations, tax compliance, and business compliance.
Pedestal Studio does not become the seller of creator-listed goods or services merely by hosting, displaying, promoting, or processing transactions related to them.
## 4. Monitoring, Moderation, and Enforcement
Pedestal Studio may, but is not obligated to, monitor any account, listing, post, message, transaction, upload, commission request, subscription offering, creator page, or other activity on the Platform for compliance, trust and safety, fraud prevention, payment integrity, or legal reasons.
We may use manual review, automated systems, keyword detection, metadata analysis, image or media classification, account risk scoring, identity checks, payment review, or other tools to detect prohibited or risky activity.
If we believe any content, transaction, or account violates this AUP or creates legal, compliance, safety, or reputational risk, we may take any action we deem appropriate, including without limitation:
- reject, block, hold, delist, or remove content;
- suspend visibility of posts, products, subscriptions, or commissions;
- pause or disable messaging or monetization features;
- place payouts, withdrawals, or transactions on hold;
- require additional information or verification;
- reverse, cancel, or refuse transactions where permitted;
- suspend or terminate accounts;
- preserve records and cooperate with law enforcement, rights holders, regulators, or payment partners.
We may act with or without prior notice.

Pedestal Studio may request supporting documentation and may remove or restrict content while reviewing a report.
## 6. No Circumvention
Users may not attempt to circumvent an enforcement action by creating a new account, using another person’s account, changing payout credentials, changing device or browser configurations, or otherwise attempting to restore access after restriction or termination.
## 7. Updates
We may modify this AUP at any time by posting an updated version on the Platform. Continued use of the Platform after the updated version becomes effective constitutes acceptance of the revised AUP.
